Matt Walley - The Man Behind Slave to Painting
Matt originally got into the miniature painting hobby back in his teenage years. After a break for almost eight years while studying at university he got back into the hobby three years ago. His main focus is on getting his armies to look great as quickly as possible, always trying to develop fast techniques to get great finishes.
So far he has painted Empire, Chaos, Beastmen, Skaven, Space Marines, Orks and a small Tau force. Currently he is starting to work on 3500pts of High Elves and 2000pts of Dark Eldar as his 2012 projects.
Outside of his miniature painting Matt has a wife and 2 kids with a third on the way. He has a PhD in Psychology and operates a portfolio of investments companies. He also studies Brazilian Ju-jitsu, mixed martial arts and weaponry combat.
